Navigation
Learning where you are in the outdoors is a life long skill, it is also a progression to give you confidence in being safe on the hills. Your day will be Tayler made to cover subjects such as where to go, what to wear, the differences between maps, how to use a compass, and the age old question 'how far is it?'
We work with you to improve your skills be it learning to understand a map or the use of GPS. Improving your navigation can enhance your enjoyment of the outdoors, increase your confidence and keep you safe.
Our navigation days can also follow the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) and the bronze or silver awards are achievable in a weekend. We run improvement course looking at navigation for activities such as mountain biking, canoeing and adventure racing.
